File & Data Export
We set up recurring data handovers to downstream systems as a project deliverable: scheduled export jobs deliver data from Nova as files, for example in CSV or JSON format.
What the file & data export does
- Exports identity and entitlement data from Nova as files, for example in CSV or JSON format
- Runs on a schedule through Nova's job system, with the same planning and monitoring as other background jobs
- Feeds downstream systems, for example for reporting or audit evidence
- Complements the JSON API: ad hoc queries go through the API, recurring handovers through export jobs
- Scope, format, and delivery location are agreed with you during the project
Technical integration
The export builds on Nova's job system: export jobs are scheduled, executed, and monitored like any other background job. Output format and delivery path are defined during the project.
In the identity lifecycle
Exports make the results of joiner, mover, and leaver processes, requests, and recertifications usable outside Nova, for example for reporting or as input to neighboring systems.
