Our pricing principles
No per-user fee
The annual fee for the maintenance package is not charged per user. We only discuss an adjustment if you grow well beyond the agreed size class.
No auto-escalation
Maintenance package prices are not raised automatically each year. Negotiated terms remain in place.
No hidden add-ons
AI features, connectors, plugin API, audit trail: all included in the maintenance package. No modules to buy later.
Pricing FAQ
Why no per-user billing?
Per-user pricing creates the wrong incentives. You would hesitate to put every user into the tool, which undermines the value of IAM. We want every user represented in Nova.
What if we grow?
Growth within the agreed size class does not change the fixed annual fee. Only if you grow well beyond it do we discuss an adjustment; it is negotiated, and the price does not rise automatically.
How does the pilot work?
90 days in parallel with your existing tool. In week 1 we jointly define 3–5 success criteria. After 90 days you decide: cutover, extension or withdrawal. No costs during the pilot phase.
What does implementation cost?
The initial analysis (before the pilot) is free. The pilot is free. In the Maintenance & Consulting package, migration support is included at a fixed price, depending on your SAP IDM complexity.
What about hosting?
Today Nova runs in your infrastructure, on-premise or in your private cloud; a hosted edition is planned for 2027. Nova itself has modest hardware requirements: one Python process and one PostgreSQL database. The optional local AI mode adds a model server in your network, such as Ollama.
Source code escrow: what does that mean?
On signing, we deposit the full source code with an independent escrow agent. If we cease as a vendor, you automatically gain access to the code.
